Online Terms & Conditions for the Purchase of Pre-Loved & Ex-Sample Designer Wedding Dresses
1. About Our Dresses
Our collection consists of pre-loved and ex-sample designer wedding dresses.
As these dresses are not brand new, they may have been previously worn, tried on in a bridal boutique, displayed, or professionally cleaned. Some dresses may show signs of wear consistent with their history.
2. Dress Condition
Each dress is individually inspected before being listed for sale.
We make every effort to provide an accurate description of the dress, including details of any noticeable imperfections, alterations or wear. Photographs form part of the description and are intended to accurately represent the condition of the dress.
Due to differences in lighting and screen settings, colours may vary slightly from those shown online.
3. Measurements and Sizing
Designer wedding dress sizes vary significantly between brands and often differ from standard UK clothing sizes.
Measurements provided are intended as a guide only.
It is the customer's responsibility to:
Check all measurements carefully before purchasing.
Ensure the dress is suitable for their requirements.
Seek professional advice if unsure about sizing.
We recommend allowing for professional alterations, as most wedding dresses require some adjustment for the perfect fit.
4. Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, you confirm that you have:
Read the full dress description.
Reviewed all available photographs.
Checked the measurements provided.
Accepted the stated condition of the dress.
If you require additional photographs, measurements or information before purchasing, please contact us and we will be happy to assist where possible.
5. Orders
All orders are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:
The dress has already been sold.
An obvious pricing error has occurred.
Payment cannot be authorised.
If your order cannot be fulfilled, any payment received will be refunded promptly.
6. Payment
Full payment must be received before your order is dispatched.
Ownership of the dress transfers to you once full payment has been received.
7. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery times are estimates only and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Once your order has been handed to the courier, responsibility for delivery rests with the courier. However, we will assist in resolving any delivery issues wherever possible.
Please inspect your parcel upon arrival and notify us as soon as possible if it arrives damaged.
8. Returns and Refunds
Due to the unique nature of pre-loved and ex-sample wedding dresses, we ask customers to purchase carefully.
If a dress arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs where possible.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Where you have a legal right to cancel your purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, this right may be limited where an exemption applies. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Returns will not normally be accepted because:
The dress does not fit.
You have changed your mind after reviewing the dress.
Your wedding has been postponed or cancelled.
You have purchased another dress.
Alterations are required.
9. Alterations
Any alterations carried out after delivery are entirely at the customer's risk.
Once a dress has been altered, cleaned, repaired or modified after delivery, it cannot be returned unless required by law.
10. Care of the Dress
Until your wedding, we recommend storing your dress in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.
If steaming or pressing is required, this should be carried out by an experienced bridal specialist.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of any dress.
Our liability for any claim relating to your purchase shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the dress, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
12. Privacy
We only collect and process your personal information to fulfil your order and provide customer service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection legislation.
